We the Pixel is the personal portfolio website for me, Rachel Wood. It showcases my favorite projects.
My research focuses on cognitive accessibility, inclusive research methods, and designing technology that empowers users—especially individuals with disabilities. I specialize in accessible health data visualizations, adaptive user interfaces, and co-designed research methods that ensure diverse populations are included in technology development.
In the past, I have been a Senior User Experience and Interface Designer (9 years of experience) and a Product Owner (2 years of experience). As a UX/UI Designer and Researcher, I have a passion for creating clean designs and strive to design intuitive customer experiences. I’m a big data enthusiast who sees treasure in every spreadsheet. I love designing products for complicated systems to create biospheres of information. I turn cocktail napkin ideas into reality.
